JUNE 2026 SUNDAYS NVC INTRO
Four unrecorded 60-minute zoom sessions
Details
I learned directly from Marshall Rosenberg, founder of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and I, too, like sharing NVC through songs, stories, role plays, and interactive exercises. I have been a Certified Trainer with CNVC since 2005. You could receive the benefits that others have received from learning and practicing NVC with me. (Previous participants’ testimonials on website .) We will incorporate the 3 Tools-Not-Rules of The Withing Way™. They’re tools we can choose to use if, and when, we want to. That’s why they’re called “Not-Rules.” The choice is always ours. My special interest is in how we can respond to our own hard-to-hear messages when they are directed at ourselves, as well as messages we hear from other people that are hard for us to hear. What do we do when we hear attack, blame, or criticism? What do we do when we hear people saying they are depressed, sick, or in pain? How do we maintain our own inner connection while hearing others? We’ll explore practical ways to pause, check, and return to connection, including the parking lot, POP, practicing the concept that “the slower we go, the farther we get — faster,” and flipping the “you” messages so we can hear more clearly what may be underneath them. I use the NVC Five-Point Overview (included within the NVC INTRO Companion Handbook sent to your email inbox when you register) ONE Purpose TWO Choices THREE Modes FOUR Language Components FIVE Perspectives People who have participated in an NVC Introduction with me often describe receiving deep benefits — not only communication skills, but more confidence, clarity, self-understanding, and the capacity to stay present more often in difficult moments. I cannot believe how remarkably helpful it has been. Your ability to communicate and teach without jargon — with clarity, ease, and at an incredibly comfortable pace...I especially appreciated that you asked about my learning style. As a visual-auditory learner, I loved the props and your humor. The way you shared the principles of Nonviolent Communication helped me come to my own realization that I speak to myself in ways that are harmful. No wonder I’ve been so exhausted. By the end of our first session, I felt a sense of ease, relief, and clarity..." - Beginner Anonymous for now
