A 4-Week Live Practice Series You’ve learned the tools. You understand the concepts. But in a moment of tension — the words seem to disappear. Old habits can take over. This series is designed to help you access your skills when you actually need them. Through guided role plays, you can practice real conversations in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Sometimes you might bring your own conflicts. Sometimes you’ll observe and learn from others'. Sometimes you may step into the role of the other person — and discover how perspective can shift everything. We work preemptively. You don’t need the actual person in front of you to practice staying steady. You can experience: ❤️ Greater self-awareness during emotional activation ❤️ The ability to pause and regulate before reacting ❤️ Clear language for expressing what matters without blame ❤️ Increased empathy for yourself and others ❤️ Confidence in navigating difficult conversations All within a space of humor, care, and lightness. When we feel safe, we can experiment. When we experiment, new habits can form. When we laugh, learning can go deeper. This is not an introduction to NVC. It is a live practice space for people ready to strengthen real-world application. “I have been living in a community home with Mair Alight for about three years and over this time, have been more and more impressed by the way she truly lives what she teaches. The way she talks about Nonviolent Communication is clear and refreshing. I think she has the ability to make good communication and self love accessible to everyone she comes into contact with.” -Sadie LeDonna "In my first two Intro to NVC sessions, Mair has taught me tools that I've been able to use in my daily communications with friends and loved ones. Using NVC techniques is a totally new experience for me, and Mair has guided me with patience and humor, which I really appreciate. Thanks to her empathy, I've left the sessions feeling both relieved and hopeful, with a renewed sense of confidence that I can communicate in ways that can help everyone get their needs met." -- Taylor Finney Mair Alight is a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC). With humor, warmth, and practical role-play, she helps people practice real conversations in a safe and supportive space.
